PBIS Behavior Expectations Assembly

Building Positive Behaviors for a Successful School Year

At Hillside Elementary, we believe that positive behavior creates a positive learning environment. During our Beginning-of-the-Year PBIS Assembly, students will learn and practice our schoolwide behavior expectations while rotating through interactive learning stations across campus.

Students will review what it means to Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible in different school settings, including:

• Classrooms
• Hallways and Stairways
• Playground and School Grounds
• Restrooms and Lunch Pavilion
• Arrival and Dismissal Areas

Through engaging demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on activities, students will learn the expectations that help keep our school safe, welcoming, and respectful for everyone.

By teaching, modeling, and practicing positive behaviors from the very beginning of the school year, we help every Hillside Hawk build the confidence and skills needed to learn, lead, and succeed.

Construyendo Conductas Positivas para un Año Escolar Exitoso

En la Escuela Primaria Hillside, creemos que el comportamiento positivo crea un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro, respetuoso y acogedor para todos. Durante nuestra Asamblea de PBIS de Inicio de Año, los estudiantes aprenderán y practicarán las expectativas de comportamiento de toda la escuela mediante estaciones interactivas ubicadas en diferentes áreas del campus.

Los estudiantes repasarán lo que significa:

• Ser Seguro
• Ser Amable
• Ser Respetuoso
• Ser Responsable

Estas expectativas se enseñarán y practicarán en los siguientes espacios escolares:

• Salón de clases
• Pasillos y escaleras
• Patio de recreo y áreas escolares
• Baños y pabellón de almuerzo
• Áreas de llegada y salida

A través de demostraciones, actividades prácticas y conversaciones guiadas, los estudiantes aprenderán las conductas que ayudan a mantener un ambiente escolar seguro, positivo y respetuoso para todos.

Al enseñar, modelar y practicar estas expectativas desde el comienzo del año escolar, ayudamos a que cada Halcón de Hillside desarrolle las habilidades necesarias para aprender, liderar y tener éxito.
